Navigation Bar Menu

The navigation bar contains the main menu items for the site.  It is broken down into two levels; a primary level and a secondary level.  When a primary level is clicked, the secondary menu items for that primary item appear.  The following paragraphs describe each of the items in the menu.

Home

Clicking on this link will return you to the front (a.k.a home) page of the site.  The secondary menu provides a list of the most common places to go to, including the school calendar, lunch menu, and links to power school.

For Current Families

This primary menu item provides information geared towards families involved with the school.  The page brought up when this menu item is clicked contains some very basic information, such as the annual progress report.

Here are descriptions for each of the secondary menu items:

  • My Account: This will take you to your account profile if you are logged in.  If not logged in, will take you to the login form.
  • Classroom and Activity Pages: This will take you to a list of group pages available on the site.
  • Links: This will take you to a page of useful links to other websites.
  • Calendar: This will take you to the school calendar.
  • Lunch Menu: This will take you to the school lunch menu.
  • Forms & Policies:  This will take you to a page full of links and documents pertaining to policies for the school.
  • Student Resources: This will take you to a page containing various resources for use by the students in the school.
  • Website Help: Takes you to this document.

Why Choose St. Joseph

This primary menu item takes you to a page providing information on the benefits of St. Joseph school.  This entire menu is geared towards perspective parents and students.

Each of the secondary menu items describes another facet of the school in more detail.

St. Joseph School Staff

This primary menu item brings up page which lists the school staff, including photos.  Clicking on the photo for the staff member will take you to their profile page.  If enabled by the staff member, there will be a link to contact the staff member through the website.  Also, there is a link where you may learn more about each staff member.

How We Help Grow Hearts & Minds

This primary menu item opens a list of areas where students and parents can help make the school a better place.

Here are descriptions for each of the secondary menu items:

  • Volunteers: This will take you to page describing how volunteering is a part of the school.
  • Charger Parent Organization:  This will tak you to a page describing the parent organization.
  • SCRIP: This will take you to a page that describes what SCRIP is, how it helps you and the school, and how to participate.
  • Special Restaurant Nights: This will take you to a page describing specials at local restaurants that benefit the school.
  • Make A Donation: This will take you to a page to provide information on how to make a donation to the school.

News & Events

This primary menu item takes you to a page listing all of the latest news, announcements, and newsletters.  A pager is available to find older news items.

The secondary menu items are used to go to the school calendar, as well as to a page listing only the St. Joseph Weekly newsletters.
