Board Vacancy Filled
Dennis Clubb has been appointed to fill the vacant seat on the Board of Education.
Snow Make Up
For those of you keeping track, we have had two snow days so far this year. School will now be in session on May 10th. August 18th is now counted as a day of instruction. If we miss another day of school due to snow, it will come from Spring Break.
Thank You!
I would like to thank all the parents and students who remembered my wife Ann and I during this holiday season. All the gift cards and other treats were very much appreciated.

Budget Summaries Now Available
The Board of Education continues to work diligently preparing a budget for FY11, ensuring that we maintain the integrity of our programming and exercise good fudiciary responsibility. Some of the options are posed merely as an exercise based on feedback received as a result of survey responses; and thus are not realistic budget scenarios. These models are notated in the document.

Because of the extreme technical nature of this document, you are invited to attend a parent meeting to learn more about the budgeting process. To find out when the meetings are going to be held and to reserve a slot, please click here.
The Board intends to begin action on the budget at it's next General Business Meeting, which will be held on January 12, 2010 at 5:00 PM. At this meeting, the Board is expected to set tuition rates. Additionally, I will make a formal recommendation as to which model is most appropriate in light of the current local and economic conditions and forecast.
