The second grade students are writing pen pal letters to Hondouras with the 7th and 8th grade Spanish students.
Registration Reminder
You should have received registration material for the 2010-2011 academic year. If you have not yet received this material, please let us know in the office. As a reminder, this material should be returned by March 1st. This information is critical as we begin making staffing decisions for next year.
Congratulations to the Center Stage Show Choir Grand Champions!
The Center Stage Show Choir, a shared show choir program with LaSalle Middle School, was crowned Grand Champions in the middle school division along with best vocals and best choreography at the Pella Show Choir competitions. This next Saturday, February 27th, they will perform at Western Dubuque, Saturday March 6th at the Xavier Xtravaganza, and Friday March 12th at the Jefferson High School competition. Rachel Meyer, Angelica Elkema, and Michaela Brown are all members of this show choir.
Stations of the Cross
Each Monday, the students will be leading the Stations of the Cross here at the school throughout Lent. Please plan to join us! The following are the dates and times we will be celebrating:
- March 1st, 2:00 Kindergarten through Second Grade
- March 8th, 12:30 Middle School
- March 15th, 8:15 Staff
A special thank you to the 3-5 graders who led the Stations this past Monday.
Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences
Reminder that we will have parent/teacher conferences on Monday, March 15th, Tuesday, March 16th and on Thursday, March 18th. You should receive conference information with website addresses and passwords today. Please check with your youngest child. The website will not become active to schedule conferences until Monday, March 1st at 8:00 a.m. If you have any questions, please call or email Kathy in the office.
