Fifth grade student, Kayla Seymour and Mrs. Wisor accepting Kayla's 2010 American Legion Flag Essay Contest award
Happy Easter!
On behalf of the entire school community, we would like to wish you and your family a safe and blessed Easter. I encourage you all to attend the liturgies of the Triduum, which begin with the Mass of the Lord's Supper this evening at 7:30. Veneration of the Cross will be on Friday at 3:00 PM, and finally the Easter Vigil is Saturday evening at 8:30. The Vigil Mass does meet your Easter obligation and is one of the most beautiful Masses of the church year. Although it is a long celebration, it is well worth it! I hope to see you there.
Prayers
Please keep Diane Evans, mom of Blake Evans in your prayers. She will have surgery on April 12th.
Last Call for Softball
This is our final notification for any girls interested in playing softball this spring. At this point, we do not have enough signed up and will not be able to have a team. If you are interested, please email Kathy at kmitchel@cr-cath.pvt.k12.ia.us
Scavenger Hunt Results Are In
Student Council wants to thank the 20 families who participated in our St. Patrick/St. Joseph Scavenger Hunt! It took the entire Council almost 45 minutes to check in all the entries. Congratulations to the four families who found 24 items: The Rick McAllister family, the Dennis Fitzpatrick family, the Schmitt's and the Althoff's. You were our honorable mention winners! Special congratulations to our winning family who collected all 25 items: The Wilmot's. Thanks again for supporting our Student Council activity. We will return all the entries to the families sometime this week.
