Shamrock Next Week

As we wind down a very challenging and difficult school year, I would like to extend a very warm invitation to our annual Shamrock fundraiser next week.  While our goal with this event is to raise much needed third source revenue for next year, it is also an opportunity to relax and enjoy a fun-filled evening with your St. Joseph family.

Shamrock is sponsored by the Chargers Organization and is held annually on behalf of the students at St. Joseph Catholic School.  We are particularly excited to be presenting our tenth installment of this annual event!  One of only two major fundraising events, this is our largest effort.  We annually raise approximately $30,000 in funds that are used for the benefit of our school.  In the past, funds have been used to purchase new carpet for our early childhood wing, computers, and instructional material to be used in the classroom.  While a portion of the funds raised through the Chargers Organization are used to support athletics, and the music program, the majority of the funding is used to support all the students at St. Joseph. 

Something new this year is a raffle, with a grand prize of a 47 inch big screen television!  Raffle tickets are $25 a piece, or you can get three tickets for $50.  While you do not need to be present to win, I would encourage you to attend this very fun filled evening at the Marriott in the Grand Ballroom!  Even tickets can be purchased for $32.50 each.  I hope to see you there.
