A Catholic education at St. Joseph Catholic School means children will receive outstanding academic instruction and be surrounded by a value system that reinforces what parents instill at home.  The academics at many area schools are excellent, and St. Joseph is truly one of the top based on its students’ achievements.  But to be able to give children an environment that will develop in them a strength like no other to prepare them for all challenges is something where St. Joseph excels.  Your donation to the school can help in this mission. 

Teaching values at home and knowing that they are expanded upon in the classroom and modeled in the hallways at school allows children to better understand who they are and what they stand for when faced with all kinds of situations, messages, and challenges in the world.  Whether it’s personal or professional, everyone is faced with decisions that require them to respond in intellectual, physical, and emotional ways.  An education at St. Joseph Catholic School through everyday practices in its smaller school setting prepares students to be true to God, their community, and themselves.

Another option to support Catholic schools is through the Our Faith, Our Children, Our Future School Tuition Organization (STO).  This raises funds to assist families whose income is at or below 300% of the poverty level, providing them with need-based tuition assistance to attend one of the schools represented by the STO, including St. Joseph.  The STO is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization.  Contributors receive an Iowa income tax credit equal to 65% of their donation, thus reducing their Iowa income tax obligation in the amount of the tax credit received.
