I'd Be Happy to Help!

Schools are pretty complex operations that take a lot of coordination and planning to properly run.  It is no secret that the faculty and staff need a lot of help from all of our families to make this a school we can all be proud of.  A great way to get involved in your school is to volunteer to serve on one of the many standing committees that we have available.  Certainly there is something to peak everyone's interest!

One great example is the Chargers Parent Organization that contributes a lot of volunteer hours to our school.  The other night during their meeting, we spent a lot of time talking about various needs that we have in the school and how this group can help facilitate completing these tasks.  The conversations was wonderful and there was a true sense of school pride and spirit.

As we go through this year, I encourage you to get involved in your child's education.  There are a plethora of opportunities and ways that you can participate in the process!  Research indicates that children whose parents are involved in their child's education do much better in school.
